Mental Health Support in Central London and online

You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck or under constant pressure, and unsure how to move forward. Perhaps anxiety is taking over your thoughts, low mood has left you disconnected from yourself, or your relationships feel strained. Many people I work with are outwardly capable yet privately struggling, particularly when stress begins to show up physically.

In my practice, I most often support high-functioning adults experiencing anxiety, burnout and repeating relationship patterns, especially where distress is expressed through stress-related and medically unexplained (persistent) physical symptoms (PPS) such as IBS-type symptoms, headaches, chest tightness, dizziness, fatigue or persistent tension.

How therapy can help

  • Therapy offers a contained, purposeful space to understand what is maintaining your difficulties and to build change that holds in daily life. This often involves:
  • Mapping the pattern linking thoughts, feelings, body sensations and behaviours
  • Reducing fear, avoidance and reassurance-seeking cycles
  • Building emotional capacity (feeling without flooding or shutting down)
  • Shifting long-standing relational patterns (people-pleasing, withdrawal, overcontrol)
  • Strengthening boundaries, self-trust and resilience

Areas I commonly support (for a comprehensive list please see below)

  • Anxiety and panic (including health anxiety)
  • Burnout, perfectionism and work stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Trauma-related symptoms
  • Relationship difficulties and attachment patterns
  • Bereavement and complicated grief
  • Life transitions, identity and self-esteem difficulties

If your main concern is persistent, stress-linked physical symptoms, start here: Medically unexplained symptoms and persistent physical symptoms (PPS)
