Q: WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN THE FIRST SESSION?

A: The purpose of the first session is to meet each other and decide whether you can work together. Attending the first session does not mean you have to commit to a therapeutic contract. Dr Zach normally ask a number of questions to gain a good understanding of what brings you to therapy and identify your needs. Information about confidentiality, cancellations, holidays, fees will be given. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions related to therapy.

Q: HOW MANY THERAPY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

A: The number of sessions needed depends on your particular circumstances and goals. There is no limit of sessions you may need and generally you can continue as long as it feels useful. Based on your therapeutic needs and goals, you and Dr Zach will discuss an initial therapeutic plan which will be regularly reviewed. The reviews will help you to keep track of your progress and make decisions about the length of your therapy.

Q: HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO HAVE SESSIONS?

A: The sessions are held weekly at the agreed day, time and location. Weekly session are recommended unless you and Dr Zach agree to meet more often as appropriate.
